Lent is a time when the Irish church focusses in a particular way on it’s response to the poor in the Third World. Sorcha Fennell, (formerly of Dalysfort Rd) spoke at all our Masses last weekend on the work of Trocaire and on Ireland’s response to helping the poor.

As has been our custom in this parish for many years, we will dedicate our Offertory Collection this weekend (Palm Sunday) to the work of Trocaire. We invite people to bring their “Trocaire Boxes” or to bring a little extra cash for the basket. If we all do a little, it will help a lot!! Many thanks.
